Bring on 2008!

The 2008 season is upon us and St. George is coming quickly! This is the first post in a long time. Hopefully others will join in and post rides, results from rides, or just good information!

We hit the Kaysville Trail this morning and it was a great ride. I will post my GPS data for that Monday. I tried the post the following data two days ago but was having Internet issues.

With the looming threat/excitement of Gooseberry Mesa awaiting in the not too distant future, I thought it would be good to throw out a call to motivation! It is my goal to get out riding at least twice a week until Gooseberry. So I am planning on posting the data from my GPS unit each week from my ride. Hopefully others will do the same!

(The Red Line is where I went)

Ride: Farmington Fire Break Trail

Time: 44:16

Distance: 5.58

Elevation Gain/Loss: +1,141/-1,175

See attached image of the route.

Sweet ride! I've done Gooseberry 3x already this year - it's awesome! I really would like to set up a Frutia, CO trip soon. I hear the riding there is AMAZING. It's only about 30 min from Moab they say.

Good to see the blog is back up, I've posted some of my rides and bike pictures out on my web site, www.jakegarrett.com.

I really want to get some riding on with the old Trail Attack crew. Let me know when the next ride is going to be and I'll be there! 801.390.7335
